WCM announces rental success in Bonn
- Lease with main tenant signed for a period of 10 years
- Property WALT increases from around 2 to 5.4 years
Frankfurt, 21 July 2015 - WCM Beteiligungs- und Grundbesitz-AG (WCM AG,
ISIN: DE000A1X3X33) today announced a further rental success. An existing
tenant of the office property in Bonn with a total floor area of more than
7,800 square metres that was acquired in December 2014 has rented a further
570 square metres and extended its lease prematurely by 10 years. The main
tenant now utilises all in all 2,474 square metres of the fully let
property. The new lease, which was signed at market terms, runs until 31
May 2016 and includes a renewal option.
This rental success increases the weighted average lease term (WALT) of the
office building in Bonn from around 2 to 5.4 years.
The transfer of benefits and encumbrance (closing) of this property
transaction took place back in March 2015. As a result, all of the rental
income already flows to WCM AG.
