FORT LAUDERDALE, FL--(Marketwired - August 05, 2015) - OmniComm Systems, Inc. (OmniComm) (OTCQX: OMCM), a global leading provider of clinical data management technology, announced the successful completion of their Collaborative Clinical Insights European Symposia tour. The symposium series provided a venue for industry leaders to exchange ideas and collaborate on technology and processes that would increase clinical development productivity, reduce costs and improve data quality.

"The Symposia was an excellent opportunity to meet the sort of people who are truly driving the development of risk-based monitoring for our industry," said Duncan Hall, CEO of Triumph Research Intelligence. "Each event was well attended by a diverse range of companies, large and small, Pharma and CRO, all with a common interest in RBM. Our approach to RBM and the OPRA RBM platform were well received, and it has given us a great springboard from which to continue to build our collaboration with OmniComm."

OmniComm's Symposia brought industry leaders and subject matter experts together to examine the limitations of existing transactional systems and how the latest developments in electronic data capture (EDC), TrialMaster® EDC, and emerging technology innovations can streamline processes, reduce cycle times, and make in-stream decisions. Technology innovation leaders from Triumph Research Intelligence, Integrated Clinical Systems, and Formedix presented at the symposia along with OmniComm.

"It was a pleasure to be invited to speak at OmniComm's Collaborative Clinical Insights Symposium in Paris," said Ed Chappell, consultancy team lead at Formedix. "Operational efficiency is an area of clinical trials that can always be improved on, and we're constantly working to develop new ways of doing this. Only by continuing to work together can we achieve that goal, and we're all looking forward to working with OmniComm and our other partners to make it happen."

"OmniComm has always had a very strong emphasis both on partnering and interfacing with best of breed technology," said Kuno van der Post, SVP of business development, OmniComm. "As the EDC specialists, we will always look to bring together the right technologies that can offer our clients the most cutting edge solutions to meet their significant challenges."

The major European clinical research hubs of London, Paris and Basel acted as the host cities for these symposia.
