    CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwired - Nov. 17, 2015) - Emerald Bay Energy Inc. (TSX VENTURE:EBY) (the "Company" or "Emerald Bay") is pleased to provide an update on recent activities in Texas.

    At Wooden Horse, the Company has recently completed an extensive 3D seismic program on Company lands. The data acquisition and processing are complete. The interpretation process is underway to identify the fault structures on the property, which will provide a clearer understanding of the trapping mechanism for the hydrocarbons for future drilling programs. It is anticipated that drilling operations for the 1st exploratory well from the seismic program will commence in the final week of November. Formations of interest will be the Austin Chalk, Buda, Georgetown, and Edwards. The Company currently owns and operates a production facility with a salt water disposal well on the subject lands.

    At Nash Creek, after re-processing and follow-on interpretation, theCompany's second location has been surveyed and staked to prepare for permit application. Emerald Bay expects to drill this well prior to year-end. The Company is targeting the same structure currently producing at their Margaret Anderson #1 well. Formations of interest will be the Navarro, Pecan Gap, Austin Chalk, Buda, and Edwards.
