Rail technology leader Bombardier Transportation has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Navamindradhiraj University, alongside King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (Bangkok), The Krungthep Thanakom Co., Ltd., Bangkok Mass Transit System Public Company Limited (BTS), and AMR Asia Co. The new partnership will promote and coordinate cooperation between the partners for the development of training and expertise in urban rail transit, naval, aircraft and other associated industries. Gregory Enjalbert, Head of Asia Pacific, Rail Control Solutions, Bombardier Transportation, commented, "Bombardier is fully committed to developing local expertise in Thailand. We are able to contribute our almost twenty year's presence in the Thai rail industry, a highly skilled team and prior experience in working with the educational sector. I will be very proud to see the first graduates benefit from this new partnership."
