Nanogate AG: subsidiary launched in the US

Group drives international expansion forward

Göttelborn, Germany, 4 May 2016. Nanogate AG, a leading international
integrated systems provider for high-performance surfaces, is driving
forward its international expansion. The Group is now represented with its
own subsidiary in the US. Opening up new, international markets is one of
the company's key drivers of sales. The export business grew by a third
last year, for example. For the current year, Nanogate expects a
significant increase in business in the US, while the company has already
recorded strong sales in Asia.

Nanogate AG's CEO, Ralf Zastrau, commented: "High-performance surfaces and
plastic components in perfect optical quality are in demand across the
world. In many industries, they provide our customers - primarily global
companies - with significant competitive advantages. As the world's largest
economy, the US offers significant sales potential for our technology. This
applies, above all, to our business with enhanced plastic components, whose
importance for the Group will increase. Nanogate has already been
represented for several years with various projects in the US - we now
intend to accelerate the opening up of the new markets with our own
subsidiary. Opening up new, international markets is an important component
of our Phase5 growth strategy, with which we intend to significantly
increase business volume and profitability."

The operational management of Nanogate Technologies, Inc. is based in the
US state of Connecticut. Back in February of this year, Nanogate announced
the launch of its Turkish subsidiary, Nanogate Teknoloji AS. From Istanbul,
Nanogate intends to access the markets in the Middle East and in Turkey. In
addition to a sales office, Nanogate is planning to open up its own
production for the growing N-Glaze Security application area. Nanogate is
also strongly represented in Asia, having, for several years, already been
supplying glazing components from Germany to a leading car manufacturer.
