C.A.T. oil AG / Management proposes Petro Welt Technologies AG as the new brand name for C.A.T. oil AG

Strategic management decisions/Rebranding of C.A.T. oil AG

The Management Board and the Supervisory Board propose to the
shareholders to change the company name from C.A.T. oil AG to Petro
Welt Technologies AG and to amend clause 1.1 of the Articles of
Association accordingly.

The new name underlines the Company's emphasis on technological
services in oil and gas as well as the global reach of the Company.
At the same time the name relates to the seat of the Company and the
stock exchange where its securities are traded in the German-speaking
area. With the new name the Company underlines its special position
in the market and its technological direction.

The name change will also settle a long-lasting litigation with
Caterpillar Inc. concerning the use of the name "CAT". A compromise
agreement with Caterpillar Inc. has been negotiated and is going to
be signed shortly.
