Iconic Mayfair Salon Closes Doors After 50 Year Heritage

After 50 successful years trading on Albemarle Street in Mayfair, the sought after luxury salon Michaeljohn has taken the business decision to relocate from 25 Albermarle Street to 144a Brompton Road in Knightsbridge, opposite Harrods. This is effective from Monday 4 July 2016.

According to General Manager Lynne Warrington: "This was purely a business decision after receiving a massive rent increase that simply was not sustainable. We believe that the enviable position opposite Harrods will ultimately be more desirable to our clientele. The success of the business will not be affected and no jobs will be lost.  All of our talented staff will be relocated to our Knightsbridge salon."
