UMS AG reports on the annual financial statements at April 30, 2016 April
2016

Hamburg, July 14, 2016. UMS United Medical Systems International AG i.L.
(UMS/ ISIN DE0005493654 / WKN 549365) today reported on the financial
statements for the fiscal year from May 1, 2015 to April 30, 2016. Due to a
slight increase in the provision for the liquidation of the company, net
income amounted to EUR-113k, with earnings per share at EUR-0.03. The
increase in the provision was necessary because the liquidation period has
been extended due to the lawsuit against the Company's former tax adviser
and the special VAT audit. Cash on hand amounted to EUR15.4 million or
EUR3.60 per share at the balance sheet date, with equity amounting to
EUR14.8 million or EUR3.46 per share.

April 30, 2016 can be downloaded from the Company's website at

About UMS International AG i.L.

UMS International AG i.L. is a corporation listed in the Prime Standard
segment of Deutsche Börse AG. The Company sold its interest in United
Medical Systems (DE), Inc. and thus essentially all its assets on August
14, 2014. The shareholders agreed to this sale at the special meeting held
on September 25, 2014. The agreement was consummated on November 11, 2014.
Now that the assets have been sold, the purpose of the Company is to manage
its own assets. In addition, the shareholders resolved to dissolve the
company as of April 30, 2015.
