Illumio Appoints Remo Canessa as Chief Financial Officer

SUNNYVALE, CA--(Marketwired - Jul 20, 2016) - Illumio, the Adaptive Security Company, today announced the appointment of industry veteran Remo Canessa to the position of Chief Financial Officer. Canessa is a well-recognized tech industry leader with three decades of financial management experience in both public and private technology companies. Canessa brings with him an extensive background in corporate finance, treasury, financial planning and analysis, investor relations, and strategic planning, as well as a deep appreciation for Illumio and its unique pioneering role in the cybersecurity industry today.

Canessa served most recently as the CFO of Infoblox for more than a decade, leading the company from early revenue through its IPO. Earlier CFO assignments included NetScreen Technologies -- which Juniper acquired for more than $4 billion -- Bell Microproducts, Raster Graphics Inc., and Infoseek. He is currently a Director at Aerohive Networks.
