J.F. Lehman & Company Announces Promotions

NEW YORK, July 26, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- J.F. Lehman & Company, a leading middle-market private equity firm focused on the aerospace, defense and maritime sectors, is pleased to announce the promotion of Glenn M. Shor to Managing Director effective July 1, 2016.  The firm also announced the recent promotions of David F. Thomas to Vice President and R. Benjamin ("Ben") Hatcher to Senior Associate.

Mr. Shor joined the firm in 2010 as a Senior Associate and was promoted to Vice President in 2011 and Principal in 2014.  Previously, Mr. Shor was a private equity investment professional with both D.E. Shaw & Co. and Providence Equity Partners. He began his finance career as an analyst in Morgan Stanley's Investment Banking division in New York.  Mr. Shor graduated magna cum laude with a B.S. from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University, with majors in Finance and International Business and a minor in Fine Arts.  Mr. Shor currently serves as a director of National Response Corporation, Sprint Energy Services and API Technologies Corp.

Mr. Thomas joined J.F. Lehman in 2010 as an Associate and was promoted to Senior Associate in 2013.  Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Thomas was an investment banking analyst in Credit Suisse's Mergers and Acquisitions Group.  Mr. Thomas earned a B.A. in economics from Yale University.  He is actively involved with the firm's investments in Trident Maritime Systems, Doss Aviation and Sprint Energy Services.

Mr. Hatcher joined J.F. Lehman in 2013 as an Associate.  Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Hatcher was an investment banking analyst with Jefferies & Company's Aerospace & Defense Group.  Mr. Hatcher earned a B.A. in Economics and a B.A. in Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia.  He is actively involved with the firm's investments in Trident Maritime Systems, Doss Aviation and AGI Holdings.
