Revenues and earnings increased in the first half year 2016
In the first half year 2016 KTM Industries Group achieved revenues in the amount of 676.9 mEur (+8%) after 624.5 mEur in the previous year. The EBIT amounted to 69.6 mEur (+13%) after 61.6 mEur in the previous year. The earnings for the period increased from 37.7 mEur to 45.8 mEur (+22%). The subsidiaries KTM AG, WP AG and Pankl Racing Systems AG recorded a very successful first half year 2016 and each of them is above the previous year's level concerning revenues and EBIT.

The group companies achieved the following revenues and operating earnings in the first half year 2016 (in mEur):

The first half year was characterized by additional acquisitions of shares in the core shareholdings KTM AG, WP AG and Pankl Racing Systems AG as well as the delisting of the two subsidiaries KTM AG and WP AG.

Increase in the number of employees: 4,821 employees / + 6% to year end
Due to the positive development of the group, additional 268 employees could be hired in the first half year 2016, thereof 215 in Austria. As of June 30, 2016 the number of employees amounted to 4,821.

Concentration on Stock Exchange listing of KTM Industries AG
KTM Industries AG intends a further listing of its issued shares at the Stock Exchange in Zurich, Switzerland. The respective preparation activities in accordance with the capital market requirements are currently being undertaken.

Company name changed from CROSS Industries AG to KTM Industries AG
In July 2016 the change of the company name from CROSS Industries AG to KTM Industries AG was resolved and registered with the company register. As KTM is the main asset of the group, the brand "KTM" was incorporated in the company name of the holding entity. The shares are now quoted under the ticker symbol KTMI.
