Newgen's APAC Conclave 2016 Decodes Digital Imperatives for Enterprises

The conclave witnessed participation of over 80 industry leaders, customers, consultants, and partners. The participants joined from 7 different countries including Singapore, Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam among others. The evening saw lively and thought-provoking discussions on latest innovations in the software industry and its applicability across businesses. The conclave also provided Newgen's customers from different verticals the platform to discuss amongst themselves the best practices and innovative ways in which they have been using the solution and give a direct feedback to Newgen's management.

Insightful and engaging Breakout Sessions on topics like Reinvent Your Workplace and Digital Transformation in Banking were conducted. The sessions gave insights on how businesses need to reinvent their workplace by connecting their systems, processes, people and things in innovative ways to foster an engaging and responsive environment. The panel discussion was lead by Consulting firms like PwC, KPMG, Deloitte and BCG.  

Mr. Virender Jeet, Sr. VP - Technology - Newgen Software, addressed the audience and shared Newgen's Product Roadmap. He said that this is the year of Analytics and gave insights on emerging technologies like Analytics, RPA, Digital Sensing and Mobility.

Another insightful session was conducted by Mr. Pramod Kumar, Business Head APAC region - Newgen Software, on technological challenges faced by customers - and Newgen's solutions that can help resolve them. He also stated the fact that Newgen has a strong foothold in the region with over 50 customers across 10 countries.

Some of the eminent speakers for sessions were Daniel Yu (Security Bank), Jayanta Kumar Roy (Bank BTPN), Gopinath Pillai (The Law Society of Singapore) and Edwin Amahan (Bank of Commerce). The intriguing sessions were followed by an award ceremony to appreciate the long-term association between Newgen and its Customers. Award winners included East West Bank, National Healthcare Group - Singapore, Security Bank, FE Credit, Bank BTPN and XL Axiata. The evening was brought to an entertaining end with a networking dinner.
