Promise Technology Launches Pegasus3 Storage Solutions with Thunderbolt(TM)3

MILPITAS, CA--(Marketwired - Nov 22, 2016) -  Leading storage technology provider Promise Technology Inc. today announced the launch and official Intel^® certification for Windows of its Pegasus3 with Thunderbolt™3. With more than 60 Windows-based computers already shipping with Thunderbolt™3 ports, Promise's third generation Pegasus models allow Windows users to take advantage of the blistering throughput rates (up to 40 Gb/s) offered by Thunderbolt 3. Known for being at the forefront of Thunderbolt™ technology - the company was the first to introduce storage solutions for both Thunderbolt™ and Thunderbolt™2 - Promise's Pegasus3 was one of the first Thunderbolt™3 storage devices to be previewed at the 2016 NAB Show.

The Pegasus3 PC Edition is available in 4-bay, 6-bay and 8-bay configurations preconfigured for Windows. Storage capacity can be expanded by daisy chaining multiple Pegasus3 systems.
