of many of our German shareholders. The support and engagement
are appreciated.
Regarding your questions:
Are there currently negotiations with potential customers?
Yes. We continue to engage with potential customers and strategic
partners. More broadly, many companies and governments are
considering how best to address security of supply concerns and
reduce reliance on Chinese supply chains. We believe Renascor's
integrated mine-to-PSG strategy offers a compelling combination
of cost competitiveness and supply security.
We have already achieved strong market interest in the upstream
portion of our project, and the demonstration plant is an
important step in advancing discussions around our purified
spherical graphite offering. As our demonstration plant program
progresses and generates operating data, we believe this will
further support discussions with potential customers and
partners.
We have also seen significantly increased engagement from both
industry participants and government stakeholders in recent
months. The market is increasingly focused on securing reliable,
non-Chinese supply chains, and we believe this trend plays to
Renascor's strengths. As the anode industry continues to evolve
and consolidate, we believe our strategy of partnering with
established anode producers rather than competing directly with
them is looking increasingly compelling.
When can we expect the first results from the demonstration
plant?
We will continue to update the market as key milestones are
achieved. The demonstration plant is not intended simply to prove
that graphite can meet customer specifications. We have already
demonstrated that through work and customer qualification
programs. Rather, the objective is to validate operating
parameters, efficiencies and engineering assumptions at a larger,
continuous scale. This is an important step toward
commercial-scale production.
Is the demonstration plant complete?
Yes. Construction has been completed and the facility is now in
the final stages of commissioning.
Is there a timeline for the next steps?
Our immediate focus is successfully completing commissioning. We
will provide the market with more specific timeline guidance
through our normal disclosure channels as we progress through the
final stages of the commissioning process.
Why aren't you following the lead of your major competitor,
EcoGraf, and securing long-term patents and MOUs in various key
markets right now?
We already have MOUs and cooperation arrangements with leading
non-Chinese anode companies. One of the objectives of the
demonstration plant is to provide the operating data, product
samples and confidence required to progress these relationships
toward long-term commercial supply arrangements.
With respect to patents, our view is that the value of our
HF-free purification approach lies in the know-how developed
through designing, building and operating the process. We do not
consider HF-free purification itself to be sufficiently novel or
inventive to support meaningful patent protection. In fact, we
successfully challenged a patent on this basis.
In our view, the real value lies in the know-how and operating
experience we are developing through our demonstration plant
program. While patents require disclosure of the underlying
technology, our approach allows us to retain and build upon that
knowledge as a competitive advantage.
What happened to your PR department? Nothing worth mentioning
to report?
Fair comment. Information tends to come in waves. During periods
such as construction and commissioning there can be stretches
where progress is significant but not necessarily suitable for
frequent public announcements. That said, we recognise the
importance of communication and expect there will be more
opportunities for updates as we move through commissioning and as
interest in secure, non-Chinese battery supply chains continues
to increase.
RNU has our money. We want to be kept informed!
That's also a fair point. We owe it to our shareholders to keep
them informed, and we will continue to provide updates as
milestones are achieved.

Some German shareholders have previously suggested a shareholder
forum or Q&A session. I would be pleased to consider that. If
