Inc.(NasdaqNM:YHOO - News) expects revenue from sponsored search queries
to more than double by 2006, its chief financial officer said on Wednesday.
In an address to the Banc of America Securities (News - Websites) Conference
here, Sue Decker forecast that the global sponsored search business, in which ads
are sold to be included in search engine queries, would grow from about $2
billion in annual revenues today to $5 billion in 2006.
