Summary Nortel has sold more fiber optics equipment (37% of market) in first quarter than any other company with Lucent (at 19%) falling to #2. Nortel is way ahead of the major players (Lucent, Cisco) in getting high speed fiber optics products to the market. Fiber optics business will continue to grow across all industries. |
