Angang New Steel Company Ltd. ("the Company") is a large steel product manufacturing enterprise in the PRC. Major products of the Company include billets, cold rolled sheets, wire rods, thick plates, heavy rails, pipe billets and large steel products, all of which are competitive in the domestic market. These products are widely used in automobile, construction, ship-building, railway construction industries and in the manufacture of home electrical appliances and pipelines. During the FYE 12/2002, the Company has implemented a centralized and unified management system throughout all of its operations to expand its production scale. For the Company`s 50%-owned associate - ANSC-TKS Galvanizing Co., Ltd., it is still in a preparation stage and has not formally commenced production and operation. Looking forward, the Company will continue to face fierce competition from the growing investment by privately owned enterprises and increasing import of overseas iron and steel products into the PRC. However, the Company will continuously carry out technological innovation and upgrade its production line to an international recognized level in order to maintain its products` competitiveness in terms of both price and quality. http://www.ansc.com.cn |
