Academy welcomes Terminator
The third annual inductee into the DVD Exclusive Awards’ Academy of Artistic Achievement will be a trio of movies:
the Terminator series of DVD special editions.
Those titles include MGM’s special edition of the original The Terminator, Artisan’s Ultimate and Extreme editions of Terminator 2: Judgment Day and Warner’s upcoming DVD of Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines.
All the DVDs have been praised for their attention to the highest-quality presentation of video and sound and have included groundbreaking and innovative extra features.
The first two inductees were the animated DVD premiere movie The Lion King 2: Simba’s Pride in 2001 and The Matrix special edition in 2002.

DVDX Franchise Award will be given to Warner Home Video’s ever-growing collection of Scooby-Doo animated DVD premiere movies and special editions of Scooby-Doo theatrical films and TV shows.
