9:01AM RBAKD upgraded at Merriman 9.57: Merriman Curhan Ford upgrades Redback Networks to Buy from Sell; firm believes that as the co moves toward profitability and gains share with its SmartEdge router, the stock should trade at an EV/S multiple of 7x, in-line with the industry`s other higher-margin router vendors Cisco and Juniper. Firm also says that after the co completed its restructuring on Jan 5, they believe the co`s stronger balance sheet should enable it to unlock orders previously delayed by apprehensive customers. Target is $17. |
