@czbradley

Don`t feel appreciated by the comment of HNH. He`s in favor of everybody who claims TA is worth nothing compared to NT.

IT`s amazing how people react on rumors that are spread in this board. You came up with it and now we discuss it as serious. I`ll not going to take part in taking rumors for serious that are spread by one single person. Don`t take it personally!

Commenting your other remarks:

The way you comment the facts is a bit unfair in my eyes. What did you expect to happen? TA goes to US and at the moment, they finished their database for turn-by-turn navigation everybody cancels their contracts with GDT and NT? That`s not the way it works!
Surely the Pioneer agreement is an aftermarket one for a single system, but it`s a beginning, and as you know, getting started is often the most difficult thing. You think Pioneer has no interest in working closer together with TA if this project works out fine? Even with Microsoft, the take the MAP DATA for their smart watches. Maybe even not a great deal - though you never know - but a start. And so on, and so on ...

There is a global interest in the market that there is more than one major data supplier, since nobody wants to depend on just one source. And TA will get its share. It might not be the largest in the US by now, but it will be continously growing, that`s IMO for sure.

Best regards
