BIOHF: Begins Production of Sucanon for Type II Diabetes Thursday , April 22, 2004 09:17 ET Biotech Holdings (BIOHF) announced that production of Sucanon is now underway. producing 25,000 one-month treatment packages for the Mexico market. Shipment is scheduled to begin next week. Sucanon is an insulin-sensitizing drug for treatment of symptoms of Type II Diabetes and a related condition, Impaired Glucose Tolerance. The drug, in tablet form, improves patients` ability to utilize insulin. has received regulatory approval for sale of the drug in Mexico and Peru as a treatment of Type II Diabetes symptoms. JS200 |
