Why is it not logical to look at 2003 sales numbers as a basis for the false claims by TA during the IPO? TA admitted during the conference call (replay) yesterday that GDT has consistently had revenue above $20M for the past 4 or 5 years.

As to quality, do you not think that they (and NAVTEQ) won the contrats for these sales because of coverage and quality? What else would they have won on?

The GIS community has been a buzz about this announcment and has raised some very interesting points. The one that I found most interesting was that while most think that the TA/GDT deal will pass anti trust MOST question what the U.S. Governement will do. The U.S. Government (and military) has consistently been GDT`s largest customer and supplier of data, but will likely have problems of giving information and revenue to a non-U.S. company.

I`m not sure about what will happen, but I am really suprised that TA did not identify this as a risk, as it has a potentially large impact on the current sale to GDT going forward.
