Hi AMD-friends! Die Motorola-Zahlen waren gestern beeindruckend: "In semiconductor products, sales increased 27 percent to $2.0 billion and orders rose 31 percent to $2.2 billion. Operating profits rose to $166 million from $24 million." Auszug aus: http://dailynews.yahoo.com/h/nm/20000712/bs/motorola_earns_d… Ein anderes Beispiel: "Shares of Applied Micro Circuits (AMCC) could get a lift in Thursday morning trading as a result of the company’s first-quarter earnings report. The company posted pro forma net income of $27.9 million, or 21 cents a share, compared with $6.8 million, or 6 cents a share, in the year-ago period. Analysts polled by First Call expected a profit of about 17 cents a share. Revenue for the quarter reached $74.2 million, an increase of 134 percent over the year-ago total of $31.6 million. The stock closed up 11 11/16 to 125 7/16." Quelle: http://www.clearstation.com/cgi-bin/bbs?post_id=1444816&Refe…
