zur Aufheiterung poste ich einige neue (bzw. alte zur Errinerung) Nachrichten:
1)DDR-Chip kommen ab nächste Woche(am 26.07 kommt Ali DDR)
und hier schon einige Fotos von AMD 760:
"AMD-760 CORONA-EVT3 Mobo
AMD at Platform Conference demonstrated a Thunderbird processor with AMD-760 motherboard codenamed CORONA-EVT3 featuring support for high performance DDR memory as well as offering an increase in the FSB to 133MHz DDR (266MHz). The AMD-760 chipset comprise of the AMD-761 NorthBridge as well as the AMD-766 SouthBirdge. Both the AMD-760(tm) chipset and DDR memory modules are planned to be available in the second half of 2000.

Japan`s PC Hardware heaven Akiba recently held a AkibaX show, where Socket-A processors and motherboards caught a lot of attention. Once again PC Watch Japan is able to furnish us with tons of photos from the show. A total of 19 Socket-A boards participated in the show, including Abit KT7, AOpen MK33, Asus A7V, Biostar M7VKA and M7VKB, FIC AZ11, Gigabyte GA-7IXE4, GA-7ZM and GA-7ZX, Iwill KA266-R, MSI KT7-Pro and MS-6340, Soltek SL-75KV, Soyo SY-K7KTA, PC Chips "Demo board", Procomp BSH1M, USI Pro294, SiS "Demo board" and finally, VIA "demo board". Most of the boards are obviously based on VIA`s KT133 chipset, other than Gigabyte`s GA-7IXE4 which interestingly uses AMD-750, IWill`s famous KA266-R which features ALI`s upcoming DDR K7 chipset, and those boards from lesser known companies such as PC Chips, Procomp and USI that are based on SiS`s upcoming SiS730s. Enjoy the photofest and oh, I certainly would not mind if some nice guys at AMD send me a pair of the Duron sandal"
3)Lautet Register etc. wird Intel in diesem Quartal wahrscheinlich nur 1 Giga in (evtl) größeren Mengen liefern. 1,13 Giga werden erst in 1Q in normalen Mengen verfügbar sein. Im Gegensatz bietet AMD schon jetzt einige 1,05 Giga ohne besondere Ankündigung.
4)Socket A Mobos sind schon auf dem Markt. Jeden Markt kommen neue:

MSI K7T Master angekündigt
Sockel-A Motherboard mit on-board Ultra 160 SCSI
Von MSI erreichte uns die Nachricht über ein neues Sockel-A Mainboard für die AMD Duron und Athlon/Thunderbird Prozessoren. Das MSI K7T Master (MS-6347) trägt wie das K7T Pro den KT133 Chipsatz von Via Technologies, wird aber vier Speicher-Sockel und mit dem Adaptec AIC-7892 einen Ultra 160 SCSI Controller on-board haben. Außerdem wird möglicherweise ein AGP Pro Slot drauf sein, wie man auf dem Bild erkennen kann. Die uns vorliegenenden Spezifikationen sagen aber nichts darüber aus.
Ein Erscheinungstermin steht noch nicht fest. Es heißt nur: "In Kürze".
5) Split: wenn die 100 Marke bis Ende August nicht fällt, dann fällt die 90 bis Ende dieses Jahres.
