Soundbreak.com Launches Broadband and Wireless Unit to Distribute Its Streaming Media Content on New Platforms WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif., Aug. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Soundbreak.com (www.soundbreak.com) will bring its streaming media content to the broadband and wireless markets via a new advanced technology initiative announced today by Lisa Z. Crane, President and CEO of Soundbreak.com. Jon Eastman, who assumes the title of executive director of advanced technology at Soundbreak.com, will lead the initiative. Eastman was formerly at Pioneer and prior to that DIRECTV, where he developed and implemented its home satellite product launch. The company`s new unit will align Soundbreak.com with premier technology and distribution partners. In that role, Eastman is currently in active negotiations with global broadband and wireless providers. "The result of this business and technology initiative will put us on the map as a universal broadband content provider," said Crane. Eastman began at DIRECTV as a Systems Engineer. Prior to that he was at Hughes Electronics from 1989 to 1993. Eastman has a master`s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California and a bachelor`s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Irvine.
