PHAZAR CORP Announced Second Quarter Financial Results

FORT WORTH, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 4, 2005--PHAZAR CORP (Nasdaq:ANTP) announced second quarter financial results today. The Company recorded a net profit of $504,753 (22 cents per share) for the quarter ended November 30, 2004 compared to a net profit of $293,637 (13 cents per share) for the quarter ended November 30, 2003. PHAZAR CORP`s consolidated sales from operations for the second quarter of fiscal year 2005 were $3,298,794 compared to sales of $2,679,624 for the second quarter of fiscal year 2004. For the six months period ended November 30, 2004, the Company recorded a net profit of $1,364,283 on sales of $7,578,876 compared to a net profit of $612,957 on sales of $4,769,814 for the same period in 2003.
The Company`s backlog of orders totaled approximately $2.8 million on November 30, 2004. This compares to $5.6 million in backlog on November 30, 2003.
