8:27pm 01/11/05 Rambus chair Bill Davidow steps down (RMBS) By Carolyn Pritchard SAN FRANCISCO (CBS.MW) -- Rambus Inc. (RMBS) said late Tuesday that Chairman Bill Davidow is stepping down and Chief Executive Officer Geoff Tate has assumed his role. Davidow will remain on the company`s board, the Los Altos, Calif.-based designer and licenser of intellectual property related to memory chips said in a statement.
