Boston Comm provides update on Freedom Wireless Trial (BCGI) 2.04 0.00:The co previously announced that the presiding judge in the patent infringement lawsuit brought by Freedom Wireless suspended the non-jury trial, in which BCGI and the other co-defendants are presenting an unenforceability defense, and ordered mediation between the co and the other co-defendants in the lawsuit and Freedom Wireless. Mediation has been ongoing. However, the parties have not been able to reach a settlement and the non-jury trial resumed, as scheduled, on July 14, 2005. This trial could last approximately one to two weeks after it commences. bcgi continues to believe that it does not infringe the Freedom Wireless patents and that the patents are invalid in light of prior art. The co also announced that it expects to release its 2Q05 Financial Results after 4:00 PM ET, on July 27, 2005.
