LOS ANGELES--(ENTERTAINMENT WIRE)--Sept. 6, 2000-- InternetStudios.com, Inc. (OTCBB:ISTS) -- To complement the existing web based resources of InternetStudios, the company has joined forces with film financing specialist Robert Beattie to spearhead the development and launch of InternetStudios Entertainment Finance Inc., a new subsidiary to provide production financing.
"Having known Robert for years and respected his acumen as an entertainment financier, we were excited and intrigued by the opportunity to launch an entertainment finance company with him," said InternetStudios Chairman, Robert MacLean, who continued "In addition, it offers registered buyers of OnlineFilmSales new filmed entertainment products unique to InternetStudios."
This new subsidiary will work with producers and sales agents and make available both conventional and gap financing. The Company is in the process of finalizing relationships with a number of private funding sources and significant institutional investors who shall provide the necessary capital.
InternetStudios Entertainment Finance is being launched at the 25th annual Toronto International Film Festival, September 7 - 16, 2000.

Beattie joins InternetStudios from Alliance Atlantis Communications Inc. where he established and ran the production financing subsidiary. Prior to Alliance Atlantis, Beattie was the team leader and manager of Royal Bank``s Toronto Media and Entertainment Group and was responsible for financing both independent producers as well as some of Canada``s largest publicly traded film and television companies. Beattie holds an MBA in Finance, is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a member of the Association for Investment Management Research and the Toronto Society of Financial Analysts.
OnlineFilmSales is the web-based solution for the licensing and acquisition of filmed entertainment rights. With agreements already in place from approximately 100 sales and distribution companies, OnlineFilmSales represents over 3,000 feature film titles for sale on this web-based business-to-business auction site.
