Siemens Medical Signs Contract with Icon Medialab
Hamburg and Brussels, September 12, Icon Medialab, one of the world`s
leading integrated e-business and Internet professional services
firms, today announced a general agreement with Siemens Medical. Icon
Medialab worked over the last eighteen months with Siemens-Elema AB
in Solna, Sweden, one of divisions of Siemens Medical, to develop a
comprehensive e-business site. The goal of the current agreement is
to extend this work to cover all of Siemens Medical and to complete
its roll-out.
With the bringing together of the various business divisions of
Siemens Medical into one digital portal, Icon Medialab will assist
Siemens Medical in providing a wide range of services that assist
healthcare professionals in better serving the patients. These
services include, but are not limited to training, education,
consulting, access to clinical protocols, etc. Also guiding them to
the Siemens Medical products that will best help them accomplish
their clinical and business goals.
The uniqueness of this special B-to-B e-commerce site is marked by
state-of-the art information service; a wide range of clinical
product specification; and easy support, pricing and ordering. Icon
Medialab will support Siemens Medical`s existing brand strategy by
focusing strongly on the users as well as clear usability.
The technical basis for all creative solutions will be compatible
with the Siemens global e-business architecture.
