SBC mentions SIGM today: by: WINTER_CFA 11/15/05 11:39 pm Msg: 88883 of 88888 At the UBS Telecom Conf in NYC this morning, SBC CTO John Stankey made the following remarks in response to a question regarding chip suppliers for its Lightspeed program: "There are two vendors playing in this chip world today, ST Micro and Sigma. They`ll be the core chip producers...Motorola and Scientific Atlanta will take their chips and integrate them into their boxes."
