3Com Acquires Nomadic Technologies to Make Wireless Connectivity Possible for Ethernet-Enabled Devices SANTA CLARA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 24, 2000-- Strategic Acquisition Strengthens 3Com`s Wireless Portfolio and Helps 3Com Deliver Radical Simplicity to Customers 3Com Corporation (Nasdaq:COMS) today announced that it has acquired Nomadic Technologies, Inc., developers of wireless networking products that 3Com will incorporate into solutions for both home and small business customers.
