Abengoa Bioenergy of Ravenna is located in close to the city of Ravenna in Buffalo County, State of Nebraska. The Project consists of the greenfield construction of an 88 million gallons per year nameplate capacity ethanol plant. The facility will use 32 million bushels of local corn every year. In addition to ethanol, the facility will produce approximately 150,000 tons of distillers dried grains with solubles ("DDGS") and 350,000 tons of wet distillers grains with solubles ("WDGS"), co-products of the corn-to-ethanol processing. The Project's construction has commenced in October 2005 and is expected to be completed in February 2007. The plant will employ about 50 people. Upon construction completion, Abengoa Bioenergy's aggregate nameplate capacity of 203 MMGPY will position it as the third largest ethanol producer in the USA.
