JEDOCH BEDENKT,DASS DIESES INVESTMENT MIT GRÖßEREN RISIKEN BEHAFTET IST!! bye.. Geron hopes to make cancerous cells age and die. Its research has applications in skin aging, heart and liver disease, and Parkinson`s disease. The firm is also studying how to use cloned pigs as sources for human organ transplants. Geron partners with Celera Genomics (stem cell research), Pharmacia & Upjohn, and Roslin Institute. A Scottish firm that helped clone Dolly the sheep is now Geron`s subsidiary, Geron Bio-Med. Geron received the first patent for cloning human embryos from the UK government.
