(ADM) said fourth-quarter net income for the three months ended June 30 more than doubled to $410 million, or 62 cents a share, from $195 million, or 30 cents a share, in the year-ago period. Revenue rose 1% to $9.55 billion. Analysts surveyed by Thomson First Call forecast earnings of 52 cents a share and revenue of $9.78 billion for the agricultural giant. The company cited better profit in its oilseeds processing business on improved market conditions in all geographic areas, as well as its corn processing operations to fuel its ethanol business.
