hallo spendi, hallo alle anderen, hier mal was neues, weil ja bislang niemand hier wußte, wann z. b. die waxs-aktionäre sich zu der geplanten übernahme äußern: ATLANTA, Nov. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- World Access, Inc. (Nasdaq: WAXS) announced today that the SEC has cleared the Company`s proxy statements regarding the acquisitions of STAR Telecommunications, Inc. (Nasdaq: STRX), WorldxChange Communications and TelDaFax AG (Easdaq: TFXG). The World Access shareholder votes for these three transactions are scheduled for December 14, 2000 at two separate Company meetings to be held in Atlanta, Georgia. Assuming favorable shareholder votes, World Access expects to close the transactions shortly thereafter. John D. Phillips, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, said, "Now that we have cleared the SEC process, we are moving quickly toward concluding these transactions and integrating these businesses. The acquisitions of STAR, WorldxChange and TelDaFax represent an important step toward our objective of being a major provider of long distance services to the European SME marketplace." also HV ist lt. zeitplan am 14. dez. da geben dann die waxs-aktionäre ihr votum zum vorhaben ab. hoffen wir mal, daß sie zustimmen. sonst sieht es wohl wirklich furchtbar finster für telda aus. aber wenn der ceo von waxs schon sagt, daß die übernahme der drei unternehmen ein wichtiger schritt im rahmen der gesamtstrategie ist, dann sollte das doch eigentlich klappen. in guter hoffnung gruß t. |
