Auszug...
Well given the current market conditions, it`s hard to say that a stock can perform in such a manner, regardless of the current spin on that company`s industry. But here is a stock that I find in an interesting situation and may be worthy of some additional research.

With the holiday shopping season at hand, there is one word I`ve been hearing more so than ever before-- DVD. The acceptance of the Digital Video Disc seems to have really caught on this year, as some low-end DVD
players now go for as low as $150. DVD players are quickly replacing household VCR`s and the recent success of such videos as Gladiator serve as evidence of the growing trend (3.6 million Gladiator discs were shipped
to retailers in its first week alone, with over 2 million of those being sold).

Believe it or not, there is a publicly traded OTCBB company that has left its mark on a majority of the DVD players in circulation: Spatializer. If you own a DVD player, take a closer look at it...you will probably come
across a reference to Spatializer`s N-2-2 Virtual Surround Sound
Technology.

Company Name: Spatializer Audio Laboratories Inc.
Shares Outstanding: 46.75 Million
Shares in Float: 36.50 Million
Current Price: 0.34 x 0.35
52-week Trading Range: 0.28 - 2.69

Spatializer`s sound system is incorporated into a majority of the leading brands of DVD players, including:
|| Toshiba, JVC, Panasonic, Hitachi, Samsung, Acer, Sharp, Sanyo, Goldstar, Emerson, Zenith and Proton ||

Spatializer`s sound system is also incorporated into PC multimedia systems and peripherals from:
|| Apple, Dell, Gateway, Hewlett Packard, Sony, Fujitsu, Seiko-Epson, NEC, Micron and Labtec ||

And in silicon from:
|| Matsushita, New Japan Radio Corporation, ESS, Zoran, Motorola, C-Cube, OnChip Systems, and Acer Laboratories Inc.

With such a wide array of licensees, Spatializer seems to have covered a broad spectrum of its target market. With the sale of each device, Spatializer earns a licensing royalty. And that is what, to me, makes this stock interesting.

With the sharp increase in sales of DVD players, Spatializer`s licensing revenues may see similar increases as well. While the company`s royalty rate decreases with incremental volume, each marginal sale will add to the
company`s bottom line revenue.

During the 3rd quarter of fiscal 2000, Spatializer announced that revenues had increased by 94% to $630,000 compared to revenues of $324,000 the prior year. Revenues for the nine months ended September 30, 2000 were
$1,666,000 compared to revenues of $977,000 in the comparable nine-month period last year.

Interestingly enough, Spatializer has turned a profit in each of the last 7 quarters. Last quarter, for example, Spatializer earned net income of $104,000, compared with $33,000 in net income during the 3rd quarter of
fiscal 1999. With its most recent profit margin of roughly 15%, the expected increase in DVD sales this holiday season and beyond should create for an interesting opportunity for increased revenue and profitability.

Moving forward, Spatializer has completed a new line of products known as the Spatializer DigitalFX(TM) series. This intends to capitalize upon the market opportunities presented by new devices such as MP3 players, set-top
boxes, Internet appliances and PDAs. Spatializer already has solid relationships in place with leading
electronics companies; such relationships should serve as a gateway to Spatializer`s entry into new market opportunities.

As a profitable company with a growing demand for its "products" (so to speak), Spatializer seems to be an interesting investment opportunity for the coming holiday season, as well as the long term. This is one I
thought I`d share with you all and I hope you enjoyed this. For more information visit the company`s website at http://www.spatializer.com

Happy Investing and Happy Holidays,

Blazin`
