(NasdaqNM:MEDX - news) on Friday said it filed a shelf registration statement with securities regulators to offer $500 million of stock, preferred stock, warrants and debt. Medarex did not say how it plans to use proceeds from any securities offering. The registration statement was filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission but has not yet become effective.
