(BTC, BTC-WT) announces completion of airborne geophysical survey in Labrador Wednesday April 11, 11:08 am ET THUNDER BAY, ON, April 11 /CNW/ - Benton Resources Corp. ("Benton") is pleased to announce that an airborne geophysical survey has been completed over the King Lake property located approximately 60km north of CVRD Inco Limited's Voisey's Bay copper-nickel deposit in Labrador. The King Lake property is host to numerous nickel-copper showings and is currently the focus of a joint venture between Benton and Teck Cominco Limited ("Teck Cominco"). The airborne survey consisted of just less than 1100 line kilometres and was completed by Aeroquest International Limited of Mississauga, Ontario using their AeroTEM II system. The project consists of 774 contiguous claim units and encompasses multiple documented showings grading up to 6.8% copper and 1.9% nickel. Final interpretation of the survey will be completed prior to follow-up ground work scheduled to begin in June.
