klingt doch gut, oder? 23.04.2007 09:40 Golar LNG wins vessel charter deals with Brazil's Petrobras worth 860 mln usd OSLO (Thomson Financial) - Golar LNG Ltd (Nachrichten) said it has won two vessel charter deals with Brazil's Petrobras, (Nachrichten) worth a combined 860 mln usd. The Norwegian firm said the deal is for its two floating LNG (liquefied natural gas) storage and re-gasification vessels, 'Golar Winter' and 'Golar Spirit'. The contract duration for both vessels is 10 years, Golar said, with an option for Petrobras to extend each by a further 5 years. The 860 mln usd figure announced this morning, it said, is for the firm contract period only. Under the terms of the deal, employment of Golar Spirit will commence during the second quarter of 2008, while Golar Winter will begin operations during the second quarter of 2009. Both vessels will be modified to permit re-gasification of LNG prior to delivery to Petrobras, Golar said. alastair.reed@thomson.com |
