Network Appliance (NTAP) $34.19 +0.38 : Network Appliance entered a $1 billion technology and business agreement with Intel Corp (INTC). Under the 7-year deal, Intel will purchase NetApp systems for use in data center operations worldwide and Network Appliance will purchase Intel microprocessors, systems, and other components for incorporation in NetApp filers for network storage and NetCachecontent delivery systems.

Priceline.com (PCLN) $2.63 +0.59 : Legg Mason initiated coverage of PCLN with a "Strong Buy" rating and a target price of $6.

Pumatech (PUMA) $5.75 +0.25 : CIBC World Markets downgraded their coverage of PUMA to "Buy" from "Strong Buy" due to disappointing revenue and margin growth.

InfoSpace.com (INSP) $4.25 +0.88 : Disclosed that its Chairman/CEO Naveen Jain increased his ownership in the company by purchasing 500,000 shares of common stock on the open market on February 15. The purchase increased his total holdings in the company to more than 62 million shares.

VerticalNet (VERT) $3.44 -0.09 : New analyst assumed coverage of VERT with a "Buy" rating, which is a notch below their previous "Strong Buy" rating.

Redback Networks (RBAK) $34.34 +4.41 : In Business Week Redback was highlighted as a potential takeover target. Sources have told us that they believe that Nokia (NOK) would be the most likely candidate to make a run at RBAK, but Cisco Systems (CSCO) and Juniper Networks (JNPR) have been said to of been keeping their eyes on the company.

Sun Microsystems (SUNW) $20.81 +0.00 : After yesterday`s close, Bear Stearns lowered their FY01 estimate from $0.60 to $0.50 and FY02 from $0.80 to $0.70 after the company significantly reduced revenue growth estimates to 10%-13% from 20%-30%; SUNW also lowered their MarQ EPS forecast to $0.07-$0.09 vs $0.15 First Call mean.

Lucent Technologies (LU) $12.49 -0.04 : Lucent secured $4.5 billion of new 364-day credit facilities. A portion of the new credit replaces a $2 billion credit facility that expired February 22nd. The remaining $2.5 billion will be assumed by Agere Systems at their IPO.
