AFX News Limited Porsche prepares to raise stake in Volkswagen - CFO 07.26.07, 1:42 PM ET FRANKFURT (Thomson Financial) - Porsche AG is prepared to increase its stake in Volkswagen AG, the company's chief financial officer Holger Haerter said in a pre-released excerpt of an interview to be published in tomorrow's Financial Times Deutschland. 'We have secured several options to enable us to further increase our stake in VW if we deem it necessary,' Haerter told the paper. 'Now we are prepared for anything,' he said. Porsche currently holds a 31 pct stake in VW. |
