Cabinet raises 2002 budget to Bt973 bn Filed at 12 : 43 pm (THLD time) BANGKOK Mar 20 (The Nation) -- Cabinet has approved the 2002 central government expenditure budget of Bt973 billion, up from Bt960 billion planned earlier, with a revenue target of Bt825 billion. The deficit of Bt150 billion is equivalent to 2.7 per cent of GDP. In addition, the state enterprise budget will carry a deficit equal to 0.8 per cent of GDP, but final figures are not yet available. |
