Al Gore
acquires small stake in Abengoa through US investment firm - report MADRID (Thomson Financial) - US investment firm Generation Investment Management, chaired by former US Vice President Al Gore, has acquired a small stake in Abengoa SA (Nachrichten), Expansion reported, citing unnamed sources from the Spanish bioethanol company.
Expansion did not specify the number of shares bought.
Abengoa is the first Spanish company in which the US investment firm, which looks for companies with environmental sustainability agendas, has acquired a stake, it said.
