[posting]32778302[/posting]na ja vieleicht sollte man bei donnernden geschützen doch nochmals zugreifen, vor allem wenn man sich mit der sache etwas näher beschäftigt. 4 usd ist sicher ein witz, aber es wird noch weiter in den keller gehen. die gründe für den abverkauf sehe ich auch vor allem darin (auch bei anderen werten), dass diese immokrise wohl immer größere kreise zieht und die investmentbanken wahrscheinlich dringend geld benötigen. da trennt man sich dann wohl oder übel von solchen relativ kleinen werten. ich denke mal das nachstehende posting ist hierzuu treffend: 5) Slightly bearish is the fact that the Price/Sales Ratio is currently at 1.55. This is a ratio that measures how many sales dollars the company is able to generate for each outstanding share of stock. Ideally, this ratio should be in the 1.2 to 1.5 range. Continued expansion of Gross Revenues, combined with additional expansion of the Share Repurchase Program should help to bring this ratio into the "desired" range which would be extremely bullish for the share price. (6) CDC Corporation has $ 268 million in "liquid assets" which is almost 3 times current annual gross sales based on their most recent reports). This is significant (and extremely positive) because it gives the investors and creditors a relative comfort level that the company is not struggling to pay it monthly obligations as they become due. Also, with a Debt/Equity ratio of only 38%, the company is well positioned to either borrow funds from a bank or raise additional equity capital through floating a secondary offering should the need ever arise. These factors are also bullish for the stock in the near term. (7) Do not be concerned with the impending $ 50 million write-down associated with the telecom business. This is a non-cash writeoff that will have no negative results to the liquidity position of the company. It is just a means of "cleaning up the balance sheet" and painting a realistic picture on the financial statements going forward. As a C.P.A., I applaude management's decision to take this action. In fact, it should be construed by sophisticated investors as having a positive effect on future financial statements to the extent that the write off will reduce future taxable net income and accordingly, the amount of cash that the company will have to pay in taxes. In summary, I see the potential for a little more downside during the next week because some investors either did not watch the market on Friday or were reluctant to sell their shares at the reduced price. Remember CDC as well as most other traded shares will always, to some extent, be the benefactor of or victimized by the general trend of the overall financial markets. Unfortunately for "long" position holders, there is currently a lot of blood in the streets (i.e. tight credit markets, inflation concerns, doubt as to future interest rate cuts, weak dollar, high commodity prices - especially oil and gold, etc.). Historically, December has been a friend to the financial markets as Wall Street executives try to boost their profitability in an attempt to enhance their year-end bonuses, but this year is looking a little suspect. I think that the stock could possibly migrate down to the $ 3.75 to $ 4.00 range. If it does, all of the financial ratios that I mentioned above will be well within the desired parameters and the ones that are already there will only get stronger. At that price, don't be scared to pull the trigger on purchasing more CDC stock (in your case you would be averaging down). If the company will continue to concentrate of expanding the software business and either spin-off or sell the gaming division, then I think that you could see CDC shares trading in the $ 12.00 to $ 15.00 range within 15 to 18 months.
