Friday, December 14, 2007 Marifil Mines Re-Prices Private Placement -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Vancouver, BC, December 14, 2007 -- MARIFIL MINES LTD. (MFM: TSX-V) announces it has re-priced its previously announced private placement of up to 2,000,000 units. The units will now be sold at $0.45 per unit for gross proceeds of up to $900,000. Each unit will consist of one common share and one-half of one warrant. One full warrant will now entitle the holder to acquire an additional common share at a price of $0.75 for a period of one year. A finders' fee will be payable in connection with this transaction. Proceeds from the placement will be used for general working capital. The private placement is subject to the approval of the TSX Venture Exchange.
