Gerade 120.000 ADR bei NASDAQ gehandelt!

mögliche Antwort (ob die Deutsche Bank mitspielt?):

... to be honest, I`ve talked to them on this subject, after reading the wording "in the form of participation in existing facilities".

At that point, they said to me that everything was possible, including DB accepting shares rather than cash (or a combination of both) as a means of payment. But this was negotiable, and not part of the call option excercisable at UPC`s discretion as mentioned in the press release. I don`t know waht the current status is, but DB should at least be very interested to keep its foot in the door now that UPC Germany (or PCAGnew) threatens to become very large.

Note that it may well be that the to be issued shares UPC Germany are related to the extra EUR 400m financing DB is providing rather than to the direct transfer of the TeleColumbus assets.

UPC`s press release about TeleColumbus:
http://www.upccorp.com/upccorp/siteserver/pressreleases/2911…

Including following paragraph about payment option:

Deutsche Bank has committed to provide UPC with EUR 400 million of financing in the form of secured loan facilities. This financing may be provided either in the form of participation in existing facilities, or through incremental facilities arranged for UPC’s German assets.

Hope this helps...
