MOUNTAIN SUPER ANGEL AG invests in a pre-IPO dealing in SINOSOL AG (lifepr) St. Gallen, 19.12.2007 - The Swiss investment company, Mountain Super Angel AG (Open Market Frankfurt, ISIN: CH0033050961, www.super-angel.ch) announces the investment in SINOSOL AG (www.sinosol.com) within a pre-IPO transaction. The Chinese –German joint venture is active both as a developer and a supplier of complete solar equipment as well as a wholesaler for photovoltaic systems components. The focus of the activities is the strongly growing Chinese market. SINOSOL AG, based in Stuttgart, aims to take a leading position as a supplier of renewable energy systems in China, in particular in the areas of photovoltaic and solar thermal energy. SINOSOL in conjunction with its subsidiaries will act as general contractor. The company develops and sells complete PV systems. Furthermore, SINOSOL is also a wholesaler for PV modules and finances with institutional partners complete photovoltaic projects such as complete solar parks. The SINOSOL Group also holds various patents in the PV sector. In addition, the Group invests into companies mainly engaged in research and in manufacturing within the PV industry both in China and in Southern Europe. "The founders, Ying Li, Raphael Krause and their team have created an impressive group of companies", says Daniel S. Wenzel, member of the Board of Directors of Mountain Super Angel. "SINOSOL is benefiting from the Renewable Energies Law, which the Chinese Government adopted in 2006. In the future China intends to reduce its dependency on coal and to take measures to relieve the shortage of electricity in certain parts of the country. By 2010 the share of renewable energies in China should thus constitute up to 20% of the total energy mix. SINOSOL is extremely well positioned to participate in this growth". Mountain Super Angel has invested within two separate financing rounds and now holds more than 5% of the company`s equity. |
