As expected our small-cap profile Ameriwest Energy (OTCBB:AWEC) performed extremely well yesterday, closing up 13 percent on the day, and creating new support levels at 47 cents. This came as no surprise to our research team, as we have seen it happened so many times in the past. The one trigger to AWEC's short term success is new corporate developments. Everytime we have seen Ameriwest Energy announce positive corporate updates the market has corrected itself significantly.
The great thing about AWEC is that many of the analysts we have spoken to and our in-house researchers believe that the company has a number of significant developments in progress. It is quite clear for them that the company will continue to gain traction in the short term.
Our opinion is that Ameriwest Energy (OTCBB:AWEC) still has significant upside for their current levels. Further corporate developments (which we foresee as being inevitable) will be momentary catalysts driving share prices to new support levels. Ameriwest is a strong company with firm fundamenatals. On top of all its corporate assets and benefits, it has the faith of its shareholders. We, therefore, encourage investors to consider AWEC as an addition to their portfolios.
We have seen the same pattern too many times with AWEC, and on two different occasions the stock jumped right back to 70 cents plus. So keep a keen eye on this stock over the coming weeks, as our due-diligence has indicated some major movement with Ameriwest's shares.
