Second Consecutive Quarter of at Least 2 Million Deployments.
Major Contributors Included DIRECTV(TM) Latin America, EchoStar and BSkyB.

Deployment growth in the quarter included digital cable, digital satellite and digital terrestrial networks.
Deployments in the quarter ended March 31, 2001 totaled 2.1 million units, a 30 percent increase from the more than 1.6 million STB shipped in the first quarter of 2000.

Major network operator contributors in the quarter included DIRECTV Latin America, EchoStar (Nasdaq:DISH <http://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=dish&d=t> - news </n/d/dish.html>;) in the United States and BSkyB (NYSE:BSY <http://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=bsy&d=t> - news </n/b/bsy.html>;) in the United Kingdom.

Seven set-top box manufacturers have each cumulatively shipped more than 1 million OpenTV-enabled STBs.
